Paid 0 · organic 0 · other 0. Other is a first order that arrived with no referrer recorded — a typed URL, a bookmark, an app that sends no referrer header, or a link from a private message. It appears in Overall only, so Organic and Paid do not sum to the headline. This period is still open: months close on day 5 of the month after, so these figures can still move.

First visit is the earliest visit Shopify recorded before the first order, from the order’s customer journey. Channel and Landed on describe the visit they ordered in, which is often a later one: a buyer who first came from Wefunder and ordered from an email link reads “other” under Channel and “wefunder.com” here. Shopify’s journey reaches back 30 days, so an older first visit is out of its sight, and Klaviyo’s lead time can be longer. A tagged link is named by its tag (a Klaviyo email, a Meta ad); Unknown is Shopify not knowing either. Hover a cell for the page they first landed on.
Google search is the searches Search Console recorded sending a click to the buyer’s landing page on the day Google sent them there. Google never tells a store what one person typed, so this is the candidate list, not a record: when a single query sent the only click, it is almost certainly theirs; when several did, it was one of them or a query Google withheld. Google hides rare queries for privacy, which is what “hidden by Google” means. Search Console runs about three days behind, so a new order reads “not in yet” until its day lands, and our copy of it starts in April 2025. Organic Google searches only: a paid click’s search term is in Google Ads, Bing and DuckDuckGo are not in Google’s data, and an email link opened in Gmail is not a search even though its referrer reads google.com.
A customer’s first order is computed from the store’s full order history and keyed on the Shopify customer record, not on a date filter and not on the email in this database — seven people who bought at a 2025 event and again on the website in 2026 would otherwise read as new. Method and cross-check: docs/first-order-tab.md.
